Early days
Early days of Dr. Satyen
Dr. Satyen was born in a small village called “Dalel Nagar” in District Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, India’s largest agrarian state. Though, District Sitapur is know for it’s close reference with India’s Vedic period and referred in the text as “NAMISH KSHETRA” in all the old Indian scriptures and Vedic history but Govt. of India has notified as Country’s 250 most backward Districts. What a irony, the place from where history was created, has been notified most backward Districts of India. His father was a school teacher in the local junior high school as well as helping his joint family in their agriculture activities after his school job. The school teaching job was one of the good jobs during early 19th century and there were three more family members in the same job in different schools. So, it was a joint family and out of father’s three more brothers, two were the teachers. Later, some of his guide/mentor motivated his father Dr. Ram Swaroop Yadav to study medical science because he had Biology Group in his class 12th studies and he made it. Though the journey was not smooth due to non-cooperation from my father’s elders by giving various reasons as well as financial reasons also but he stood by his decisions and continued his medical sciences studies and completed his graduation and joined UP Govt. services at Pilibhit District and was assigned a small rural hospital under Zila Parishad Management at Abhaypur in Puranpur Tehshil of District Pilibhit and his journey as Doctor started from there. Once he got settled, he brought his family from village to city and we were exposed to new world in 1969 with my mother, two brothers and one sister. I was ten years old and we were all born during my father’s study at Medical college during 1959 to 1965. So, he had managed his family and studies which shows his determination, commitment level, sincerity and hard work otherwise managing studies own his own and managing his family was not a easy task and I am lucky to inherit some of his great traits and I feel privileged and blessed as his eldest son.
